15th Primary Athletic Meet 2017-2018
The primary section of the school organized the 15th Primary Athletic Meet on 18th January, 2018, on the school sports ground. This annual event saw enthusiastic participation from students, from the Lower KG to Class 4. The event was also attended, as always, by our enthusiastic and excited parents, who joined in whole-heartedly, cheering and encouraging the children.
The day began with a colourful march past by the contingents of each class. The Cub Captains and the Coordinators of the four houses led the march past, and the assembled students took the oath.
The main events of the day were the track events, which were eagerly awaited and fiercely contested. The events included 50 mts. sprints, 200 mts. run, novelty races, relays and the tug-of-war. The parents and teachers also participated with fervor and gusto, in events specially designed for them. There was much cheering during the relays and the tug-of-war, as the seniors of the primary section took to the tracks.
