Ria Sanghavi, Shaurya Sule and Rehaan Dhandhia from Class 6 B stood first at the World Robot Olympiad National Championship 2023, in the ‘Future Innovators’ Elementary category.

 

 

Their team PortKey, led by coach Kashyap Shah, has progressed to the international round and they will represent India at Panama City in November 2023. The team's product AquaFlo, is a fully automated cargo transport system built by creating a network of under-seabed tunnels and a traffic management system connecting major ports worldwide.

 

 

The judges described Team Portkey as "a team that created a perfectly synced and innovative robotics solution for the marine traffic system. This team holds it all - a big idea, complex system, thorough coding knowhow, effective pitch and presentation, and excellent teamwork"

 

 

 

This was the 5th and 3rd year of participation in WRO for Ria and Shaurya respectively and they have won accolades in the past as well.
