ADVITYA 2017-18

Established in the August of 2000, Advitya is a creative centre for those gifted with conditions like Down’s syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy among others. These special ones are part of the Advitya family under exceptional circumstances, one of the most notable being their inability to adjust with larger groups in other special institutes due to their need for individual attention or their growing age.

The school has been working with Advitya NGO for more than a decade, and this batch of students volunteered to work with the students of Advitya by meaningfully engaging with the many art and craft activities. DAIS students also put up a stall in the annual Fete and raised funds by setting up games and fun activities. The students have made a difference to the loves of the members of Advitya by working with them and teaching them various skills like dancing, singing, drawing and colouring.
