Classical Western Vocalist

Aliya Agrawal of Class V A participated in the “Seventh International Youth Competition JUMEIRAH SOUNDS, Dubai by Global Music Partnership. There were participants from many countries, that are getting trained for a professional music career.

 

 

Aliya won the 1st prize for INDIA in Western Classical - Academic Vocals. Her pieces were “Ave Maria” by F. Schubert and “Tonight - West Side Story“. Her singing was well appreciated by the jury, and she was recommended to make the 1st Voice Soprano for the choir. Aliya won amongst many talented contestants from various countries that are getting specialised music training and are focused completely on Musicianship.

 

 

The jury requested her to sing a Hindi song during the prize distribution ceremony and she happily sang a bhajan “Hari Sundar Nand Mukunda”.
