Arhan Shah IBDP Grade 12 hosts webinar for Thalassemia awareness
As a patient of Thalassemia ( a type of anaemia) Arhan Shah IBDP Grade 12, is a part of the Thalassemia National Welfare society and actively takes part in the projects and programs.
He recently hosted a Webinar with esteemed chairman of the Thalassemia National Welfare Society, Dr J S Arora, as the chief guest and speaker. There were a panel of doctors and paramedical staff, patient from all over India, his yoga and fitness trainers and dietician to make the patients aware of 'Lifestyle Attributes and Changes to Fight Thalassemia.'
1 in 2 women in India are anaemic, 2019/20 statistics say over 68% children and over 66% women are anaemic with low haemoglobin, nausea, breathlessness, fatigue and low concentration. 1 Thalassemia Major child is born every 45 mins in India with a high infant mortality rate.
Arhan is conducting a series of webinars to make the patients aware of better diet, exercise and homeopathic remedies to reduce the effects of blood transfusion and symptoms.
