Coding Challenge

The DAIS Coding Challenge was started by a group of computer science enthusiasts and is a student-led online coding competition. Our goal was to give students exposure to competitive programming outside the scope of their academic curriculum. We hoped to encourage coding among new coders, enabling them to hone their skills through our rigorous assignments. As STEM students, we wish to promote the adoption of STEM based education and computer science education among the youth of today. To those ends, we partnered with EdYouth, a non-profit organisation aimed at improving the educational infrastructure for children in India. One hundred percent of our registration fees were donated to this organisation which has the mission of empowering youth by providing affordable education along with mentorship and vocational guidance. We hope our donation creates a positive changes and encourages the promotion of STEM based education.
