Class III - Guardians of the Planet

To commemorate Earth Week, DAIS Class III learners were engaged in a discussion regarding the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on our environment. The focus was on how 'reusing and recycling' can mitigate the accumulation of waste in landfills and oceans, aligning with their unit theme, "Sharing the Planet".

 

 

The students recognized the importance of their actions in preserving the environment and pledged to make responsible choices and take meaningful action.

 

 

 

 

As the unit concluded, the class participated in a hands-on gardening activity by planting saplings in planters crafted by them, made from waste containers. By fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility, the unit succeeded in nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious citizens.
