Education and Empowerment

Class V students had an enriching opportunity to visit the Jai Vakeel Foundation, an NGO dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. The purpose of the visit was to expose students to, inclusivity, social responsibility, and understand the importance of vocational training for individuals with special needs. The foundation provides these services to children as well as adults.

Upon arrival, students were warmly welcomed by the staff, and they learned about the foundation's commitment to providing education, vocational training, and rehabilitation services to individuals who have difficulty fitting in with the general population.

The students engaged in an interactive session where they had the opportunity to ask questions about the inhabitants, the challenges faced by them, and the impact of vocational training on their lives. Our students observed the vocational training programs in session and actively participated in the training sessions.

The visit to Jai Vakeel Foundation was successful in fostering empathy and promoting inclusivity. The experience will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on their minds, inspiring them to contribute positively to society and advocate for the rights of individuals with special needs.
