Daughters of India
'Daughters of India' is an initiative conceptualised by Anaya Deshmukh of Class 4 A, to honour and celebrate the 'invisible' yet 'inspirational' Indian women, for their contribution to our society.
This platform helps to bring forth inspirational stories made by the children, for the children; about women who are role models for our future generations.
These stories teach us that hard work, perseverance, discipline and courage are important cornerstones of character building and can be life lessons to learn from.
'Daughters of India' has steadily grown in numbers and is being supported by over 18 children, including Mehek Doshi (10 C), Ikshu Shinde (8 A) and Vivaan Doshi (4 A) of DAIS.
These young minds have set out to spark the imagination of children just like themselves, to break the stereotypes and forge a new path for the women of India, in the future.
'Daughters of India' invites more children to support them in this endeavour. Let's not forget, Real Girls Support Each Other!
