Dev Shah bags prestigious DIANA Award

Dev Shah, a child prodigy in chess, has achieved remarkable success both personally and as an ambassador for the sport. He founded the 'Nirmaan Charitable Trust' with his sister to bring the joy and rigor of chess to underprivileged students in India.

Through 'Nirmaan', Dev provides free coaching to students from municipal schools, aiming to create youth champions in both chess and life, as well as addressing the gender disparity in the sport. They have secured funding to expand the programme to multiple schools, and organise online tournaments, and gained widespread recognition for his efforts.
