DAIS IBDP G 12 Eklavea Shah won the Gold Award at the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competitio'24 . Addressing the topic, "What do you believe is the most pressing issue the world faces today, and how can Commonwealth values help solve it?", he emphasized the urgent need for peace and unity to resolve global conflicts. Eklavea highlighted how the Commonwealth's shared values of democracy, human rights, and equality can pave the way toward a more peaceful world. This award is bestowed upon only about 200 students out of 34,939 entries this year.
