Children's Day Celebrations 2022

“Memories of childhood are the dreams that stay with you after you wake up.” – Julian Barnes

Children’s Day is always a special day at any school, and at DAIS we endeavour to make this day unique and memorable for our children. On 14th November 2022, the school was decorated with balloons and a huge banner that read, “HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY”. During break time, the Primary school organised a karaoke session for our young learners. The music department set up the acoustics in the school atrium and all students and staff were invited to join in. The enthusiasm displayed by the students was infectious, and soon the faculty was seen joining in with some popular classics. The school building reverberated with lilting music and melodious singing by the students and faculty members.

The celebrations and the making of memories continued when the entire faculty and staff put together an entertainment programme for the students. The teachers enthralled the children with a humourous skit, focussing on current affairs and some foot-tapping performances, as teachers and staff put on their dancing shoes and presented a medley of dances. There were special dance performances by the housekeeping and the security staff too. The musical entertainment that followed was complete with some melodious renditions by the teachers, of both Indian classical and western compositions. The teachers and staff received a standing ovation from the students, who loved, enjoyed, and appreciated the time, effort, and work put in by the teachers, not only on that day, but every day.
