First Tech Challenge 2015

Amay Saxena and Mihir Shah have been a part of TEAM R FACTOR through its entire journey from the regionals to the nationals (held in Delhi) and now the International levels of the FTC. “The challenge involved an obstacle course/maze through which we had to navigate, find and break a container. In the nationals we won the award of ‘winning alliance’ and also the ‘Connect Award’, thus qualifying to represent Team India at the API Australia. Our main aim is to spread awareness about S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as well as provide a platform to bring new and curious kids into the field of robotics. We have held stalls at the IIT Bombay Tech Fest and coached younger teams in the First Lego League robotics competition.

Through all our outreach efforts as well as a unique, fast and efficient robot, we hope to put up yet another stellar performance and hope to do INDIA proud at the Asia Pacific Invitational to be held in Australia in July.”
