Frank Anthony English Debate

At the Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School English Debate, two students from Std 10A, Vikram Sivashankar and Sahil Rane represented the school in the Regional round. Our team was adjudged the best team and Vikram was awarded the 'best speaker'. The topic was ‘ By sparing the rod we have spoilt the child' and clearly our two speakers were able to make a mark with their eloquence. Now our team is into the Zonal round.

The Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter-School English Debate is a prestigious annual debate competition organised by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE). Participants represent their schools and are divided into two groups (Category I for students of Standards XI and XII and Category II for students of Standards IX and X). Over 1,600 schools participate in the event each year.

DAIS students have represented the school every year in this debate and have brought laurels for the school.
