IBDP G 11 Ishaan Surve wins Silver at the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition'24

Out of a record breaking 34,939 entries received this year from 9 different countries, DAIS student, Ishaan Surve of IBDP Grade 11 has won the SILVER AWARD, Senior Category (14-18 years) in The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition'24.

Ishaan's essay topic was, "It’s worth remembering that it is often the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring about the most lasting change."– Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. What small steps can you take to help tackle the climate crisis? His essay highlighted practical measures that one can adopt to combat climate change.
