Keyaan Shah, IGCSE Grade 10 shines WSRO

Keyaan Shah, IGCSE Grade 10 wins at World Stem & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) National & International Championships 2023 in association with Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat. He along with his teammate, Ahaan Shah from JPIS, Jaipur came First at WSRO National Championship with prize money of Rs 15000/- and Second Runners Up at WSRO International Championship in the Entrepreneurial Challenge for their project SignKraft.

 

 

WSRO saw 200+ participants contesting in the Entrepreneurial Challenge category through several qualifying rounds of the Olympiad. The final event was held at Science City, Ahmedabad on 13th & 14th September, 2023.

 

SignKraft (a handheld device for Indian sign language translation to facilitate seamless communication for the deaf) has also previously won Gold Medal and Rs. 10000/- at WSRO Regional Entrepreneurial Challenge held last year and qualified to Nationals. They have been continually working on product upgradation since past one year based on inputs received from the deaf community to make it market ready and have created 4 prototypes so far, each one being an upgrade of the previous one.
