National Financial Literacy Assessment Test 2015

National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) conducted National financial Literacy Assessment Test (NFLAT) 2015 2016 for students of Classes VIII, IX & X at the National and Regional Level. The objective of the test is to motivate students to learn the concepts of finance and also measure their financial awareness so that they inculcate important life skills at an early age, leading to sound financial decisions later.

NCFE-NFLAT assesses the students’ knowledge on topics such as Money, Savings, Banking, Budgeting, Insurance, Investment, Retirement Planning etc.

Over 1,25,000 students, all over India appeared for the Test in November, 2015. 25 of DAIS students of Classes 8, 9 and 10 of National Curriculum also appeared for the Test.

DAIS is extremely proud to declare that out of 25 students who appeared for the NCFE-FLAT 2015-16 Test, 18 students have been named in the list of top 500 students.

Rishabh Bhargava of Class 10 A has secured the All India Rank No. 1 in the Category – Regional Winners.

Anuj Shah of Class 10 A, Chitvan Bansal of Class 10 A and Piran Karkaria of Class 8 A have received Special Recognition Certificates and are placed in the top 100 ranks.

Aanya Shahani, of Class 8 A, Adarsh Sriram of Class 9 A, Advaith Bala of Class 8 A, Akshata Jain of Class 9 A, Amay Maheshwari of Class 9 A, Avi Anurag of Class 10 A, Debaditya Mukhopadhyay of Class 9 A, Devaansh Patel of Class 8 A, Jai Naik of Class 10 A, Jayani Mehta of Class 8 A, Saumya Parikh of Class 8 A, Shaurya Parikh of Class 8 A, Shivali Shah of Class 9 A and Varun Sivashankar of Class 10 A are all placed in Merit Category.
