Shaurya Bairagi of Class VIII C won two Gold Medals at the International Schools' Athletic Meet in the 100m. and 200m. sprints. The ISSO organised the 6th Edition of the athletic meet.
Tia Vasa Wins Bronze in Rhythmic Gymnastics at ISSO 2024
Tia Vasa of Class 9A participated and won a Bronze medal in the Clubs apparatus at the 6th Edition of the ISSO 2024 for rhythmic gymnastics, in the under 17 years age category.
She also stood 4th overall and was selected for the SGFI to be held in December 2024 in Kolkata.
Ahana Shah Clinches Double Silver in Balancing Beam and Vault at ISSO Games
At the ISSO National Games 6th edition- 2024-25 held in Bangalore, Ahana Shah of Class 9C won 2 silver medals in the Balancing beam and Vault.
Samika Khanna Silver Singles & Gold Doubles championship series
Samika Khanna of Class IX B WON the Under-14 Girls’ Doubles title at the MSLTA - ALL INDIA RANKING TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.
Samika also secured the RUNNER-UP position in the Under-14 Girls Singles of the same tournament.
TilakVir Kapoor - Grade 4B
TilakVir Kapoor of Class IV B secured First Place and was the winner at the All India 47th Maharashtra State Squash Championships 2024, in the Boys’ Under 11 category. He showed grit and determination by defeating the first seed from New Delhi in the finals.
Vedikka Srinivvasan Bags a Bronze
Vedikka Srinivvasan of Class 3 A participated in the 16th Mini and 5th Child State Fencing Championship 2024. She won a Bronze medal in the U-10 Epee category.
Vedikka Srinivvasan represented Maharashtra State in the National Fencing Championship 2024 winning the Bronze medal in the U10 Epee category.
DAIS wins U10 Invitation Cricket Tournament
DAIS won first place in the FITMUNKS U-10 Cricket Inter-school Invitation Tournament. At the event, Zahan Khushrushahi was the ‘player of the tournament’ and Ariaan Shah was the ‘bowler of the tournament’.
Veer Kacker was declared ‘Man of the Match’ in the finals.
The team worked hard, trained every week and after playing a 3-game knockout, came out victorious. Kudos to our DAIS Lil Champs!!!!
The team ‘Dais Warriors’ consisted of Ariaan Shah, Veer Kacker, Yuvaan Parekh, Zahan Khushrushahi, Ari Khambhati, Yuvraj Jhaveri, Kavir Mehta, Aviraj Shah, Aanjaneya Kamat, Adhiraj Tatkare, and Dhrish Shah.
Krisha Singhal Stairs Taekwondo Nationals
Krisha Singhal of Class XI won two Bronze medals in Form (pumsae) and Sparing (kyurogi) at the Stairs National Taekwondo Competition.

Zahaan Kapadia of Class IX B won a Bronze medal in ’Sparring’ in Taekwondo, at the Stairs Youth National Games.

Victory Vault
Anishka Biyani of Class 2 B performed extremely well at the Oberoi International Schools' Gymnastics tournament.
Anishka won 5 Gold medals in Vault, Beam, Floor Exercise, and Bars & the Best All-Rounder in the Advance Level 2 Artistic Gymnastics competition. There were more than 100 participants in the tournament from various International Schools across Mumbai.
Samika Scores at the All India Ranking Championship
Samika Khanna of Class 8 B, participated in the MSLTA NMSA - ALL INDIA RANKING CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES Lawn Tennis championship. In the U-14 girls ’ doubles category, she secured the Runner-Up position in the finals with her partner Kirtiyani Ghatkar.
Additionally, Samika Khanna played the U-14 girls' singles in the same tournament and reached the semifinals where she lost in a 3-setter dual against Arisa Takei, 6-2, 3-6, 6-7 (5-7).
Karate Kid Shines
At the 2024 USA OPEN & Junior International Cup Karate tournament held at Fortworth, Texas, Advay Dhoot of Class VB participated in the 11-12-year age category winning 4 medals.

Rana Pandit - Golf Tournament
'Teeing off' to a Good Start
Rana Pandit of Class 1 A was the Runner-up in the under 9 category at the Ruia Cup golf tournament. He tied scores with the winner, however he lost narrowly in the tiebreaker.
TilakVir Kapoor - Grade 3B
TilakVir Kapoor of Class 3B was the Winner of the prestigious Ruia Cup Golf Championships 2024 (Juniors Tournament) held at the Willingdon Sports Club, Mumbai.
He was also the Runner-Up at the prestigious Guzder Cup Golf Championships 2024 (Juniors Tournament).
Grace and Determination
Tia Vasa of Class 8A bagged 5 Bronze medals in the Under-16 category at the Mumbai City District Championship for Rhythmic Gymnastics. She won in all the apparatus routines; hoop/ ball/ clubs/ ribbon.
Natasha Kapoor won silver in long jump
Natasha Kapoor of Class 4 B participated in the Bombay City District Athletics Association Meet and won a Silver Medal in the Long Jump U10 Female Category.
This achievement qualifies her to participate in the State Level Meet. She also qualified for the finals of the 100m sprint.
Kabir Moves to Rank 2 in Mumbai
Kabir Bhasin of Class 7B was honoured for being amongst the top 5 players in Mumbai for the year 2023-2024 in the Under-13 category in Table Tennis. He was felicitated at an award ceremony held at CCI, Mumbai, on 28 January 2024. He was also awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000. He now holds Rank 2 in the Mumbai City district in the Under-13 and Rank 6 in the Under-15 category in Table Tennis.

Kiara Purandare of Class 7A won a Gold medal in the ‘Sports For All Mumbai & ISSO’ Under-14 Fencing Epee. She played extremely well in SGFI and ranked 6th in the Under-14 Epee Fencing Competition.

Anishka Biyani of Class 2B won 3rd place in Balancing Beam in Gymnastics, in the Under 8 category at the Mumbai Schools Sports Association Games.
Broad Jump from District to State Level for Natasha
Natasha Kapoor of Class 4B participated in the Bombay City District Athletics Association Meet and won a Silver medal in the Broad Jump Under-10 Female Category. This achievement qualifies her to participate in the State Level Meet to be held in February in the Broad Jump and the 100m sprint.
A National Roller Skating Victory
Sivah Navlé of Class 7A won 2 Gold medals for team Maharashtra in Precision ( group of 10) and Quartet( group of 4) routines, at the 61st National Roller Skating Championship held at Chennai. This competition is conducted by the Roller Skating Association of India affiliated with World Skate, and recognised by the Indian Olympic Association. Sivah participated in artistic skating as a sub-junior (age category 11 to 14). This is her fourth consecutive year to represent and win for team Maharashtra.
Winning on Wheels
At the 61st Artistic Roller Skating National Championship, Reeva Agrawal of Class 9 C won a Bronze medal in the Solo Free Dance and a Silver medal in a group dance called Quartet.
Anika Tees Off Successfully
Anika Rangwalla of Class 6 A won First place in Category C Girls, at the Western Region India Golf Union Junior and Amateur Golf Tour 2024.
The tournament was held at the Bombay Presidency Golf course Chembur, in Mumbai.

Kiara Purandare of Class 7 A participated in the SFA Mumbai Fencing Under-14 competition and won a Gold medal in Epee and a Bronze medal in Foil.

Rhea Ghadiali of Class 2 B won a Gold medal in Beam and a Silver medal in the Floor routine, at the Viva Gymnastics competition. She participated in the Under-8 years category.
Anishka Biyani of Class 2 B won a Bronze medal in the Beam routine at the Viva Vibgyor Advanced Artistic Gymnastics Competition, in the Under-8 years category.

Ahana Shah of Class 8 C represented DAIS at The SFA Artistic Gymnastics competition in the Under-14 Girls’ Uneven High Bars event. She won a Silver medal at the event.
Samika Khanna Bags a Silver
Samika Khanna of Class 8 B won a Silver medal in the Under-14 Girls’ category in Lawn Tennis, at the 5th ISSO National Games 2023 -2024. She lost the Gold in a tough match against Rishita Patil, 6-3. Rishita was seeded No. 1 for the tournament and she's seeded 10th in India.

Anika Rangwalla of Class 6 A won First place in Category C (girls) at the Western India Golf Union Junior and Amateur Golf Tour 2024.
The Golf tournament was held at the United Services Club in Mumbai.
A Shining Star
Parthiv Sreeraman of Year 11 IBDP won a Silver medal in the 200m sprint at the ISSO National Athletics Tournament held at The Shriram School, Maulsary with a timing of 24.1 seconds.
He has been selected to represent ISSO at the SGFI National Games.

At the MSSA Tennis Tournament, Aadvik Khanna of Class 4 B participated in the Boys’ U-10 category.
He defeated his opponents at every level before winning the championship.
At the same event, Samika Khanna of Class 8 B played in the U-14 Girls’ category. She reached the finals and won the championship after several grueling rounds.

Anika Rangwalla of Clss 6 A secured First Place and was the Winner in Category C (Girls) at the Western India Golf Union Junior and Amateur Golf Tour 2023.
Ria Subramanian Bags a Silver
Ria Subramanian of Class 7 A won the Silver Medal in Judo in the Girls Under-14, below 56 Kg weight category, at the Late Shri. V. V. Bhat Memorial Inter-School Championship 2023-2024.
Anoushka Displays Flexibility and Agility
Anoushka Shah of Class 10 B won 3 Gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal at the ISSO National Schools Artistic Gymnastic Competition 2023.
She was the only gymnast in the U-17 Girls’ category to win a medal in all four apparatus - floor, beam, vault and high uneven bars.
She ranked 1st place and won the Overall ISSO National Gymnastics Championship.
She will represent DAIS at SGFI Gymnastics Nationals in November.

Amyra Kapadia of Class 4 B secured 3rd place in the under-11 category and won a bronze medal on the floor at ISSO Nationals Gymnastics Tournament.
Ria Sanghavi from Class 6 B
Ria Sanghavi of Class 6 B won a Silver medal in the under-12 years age, in the 52Kg+ weight category at the Late Shri V. V. Bhat Memorial Inter school Judo Championship 2023-24.
Ria also won a Silver medal in the same category at the Prof. Jigoro Kano Judo Championship Mumbai in August 2023.

Ishika Punjabi of Class 10 won a Bronze medal at the 5th ISSO National Table Tennis Championships held at Prometheus School in Noida.
Raj Shoots a Silver
Raj Chauhan of Class 10 won a Silver medal, in the under-17 age category, at the 5th ISSO National Shooting Championships held at Prometheus School in Noida.
He won the medal in the 10m air pistol.
Kabir Bhasin in the Mumbai City team
Kabir Bhasin of Class 7 B won the 2nd ranking in the Mumbai City district in the under-13 category of the Maharashtra State Table Tennis Tournament 2023-24.
He will represent the Mumbai City team in the next zonal tournaments.

TilakVir Kapoor of Class 3B secured First Place and was declared the winner at the "All India Matunga Gymkhana Junior Open Squash Championships 2023".
Advay Dhoot Korea Karate Bronze
Advay Dhoot of Class 5 B participated in the 15th Korea Open International Karate-do Championships and the 2nd WSKF World Karate-do Championships in Busan in July 2023. He won 2 Bronze Medals in individual and team Kata.
There was participation from Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Philippines, Canada, the United States, Gabon, and Korea.
Natasha Kapoor 3B Athletics Achievement
Natasha Kapoor of Class 3B participated in the 1st Maharashtra Kids Athletics Meet conducted by the World Athletics Council at Priya Darshini Park Mumbai. She was placed third in the U11 category along with her teammates.

Anishka Biyani of Class 1B participated in the IGCI Artistic Gymnastics Meet held at Leap Academy. Anishka won three gold medals in Balance Beam, Vault, and the Floor event for her outstanding performance.

Kiara Menzies of Class 5 B won a Gold medal in the Vault and a Bronze medal in the Floor event at the IGCI Artistic Gymnastics Invitational Meet held at Leap Gymnastics academy.
Speedy Krish
At the Kartopen Championships held in Ahmedabad, Krish Puthran of Class 8 B qualified in the P1 in the heats, followed by P2 in the finals.
Krish returned with 2 Trophies, winning Second Place on the podium and he was declared the Overall Kartopen Champion, based on his previous scores and timings. This has been his best personal timing yet.

Aryadev Gupta of Class 2B participated in the Amway Nutrilite Golf Tournament held at BPGC Golf Club. He was awarded the runner-up position in Category E for under 8 years.
A Champ Astride Champs
Aayan A Agrawwal of Class 2A was placed 3rd and won the Bronze medal, astride Champs, at the Dressage 76th Annual Horse Show 2023, at The Amateur Riders' Club, Mumbai. He participated in the beginner category, and he was felicitated as the youngest rider.

Sara Gandhi of Class 2A (astride Bella) won a Gold Medal in Trot Race (Confined C1 category) at the Japalouppe Annual Equestrian Games 2023, held at the Japalouppe Equestrian Centre.
Aayan Agrawwal of Class 2A, participated in the DRESSAGE, at MAHARASHTRA EQUESTRIAN GROUP, JAPALLOUPE ANNUAL EQUESTRIAN GAMES 2023, category confined 1 and he was placed 2nd, receiving the silver medal.

Reeva Agrawal of Class 8C participated in the 60th Nationals Artistic Skating Championship in Bangalore. She represented team Maharashtra in the age category 11 to 14 years and bagged 2 Gold medals in group events called quartet and precision, with her fellow team members. She also won a Silver medal in her solo dance event and made Maharashtra and her school proud.

Aryana Thacker of Class 8B represented Team Maharashtra in the 60th National Artistic Skating Championship at Bangalore in the 14-17 age group, in the quartet event, and won the silver medal for team Maharashtra.

Sara Gandhi of Class 2 A was placed 3rd and won a Bronze medal in DRESSAGE (Under 12 CH-2) at the 3rd Annual Goodwill Equestrian Games held at Goodwill Stud Farm, Shedung.
Anahita Mehendale of Class 2 A won a Silver medal in the Vibgyor Viva Interschool Judo competition for under 8yrs, under 33 kg category.

Karate
Advay Dhoot of Class 4B, participated in the 40th Annual Inter-school and Inter-Collegiate Karate Championship organized by the All India Gojukai Karate-do, affiliated to International Gojuryu Kenpoukai Kenbukan Karate-do.
More than 50 Schools, with over 800 participants were a part of the competition.

TilakVir Kapoor of Class 2 B secured First Place and was judged the Winner at the prestigious Western India IGU Junior Golf Championship 2022, held at the United Services (US) Club.
The experience of playing at the Indian Army, Navy and Airforce Golf Course was most enriching for TilakVir. It was a proud moment for him when he was felicitated by Brigadier Maneet Gill of the Indian Army.

DAIS shines at the Expo 2020-Dubai
Anoushka Shah of Class 8B and Ahana Shah of Class 6A represented India at the International Gymnastics Competition at Expo 2020 Dubai. There were more than 50 participants in each category for each level, with participation from 75 countries.
Anoushka won a Gold medal in International Trampoline Gymnastics. Ahana came 4th in the same event.
The experience for the students was like a mini Olympics. Our DAIS students proudly marched with the Indian flag.
Reeva Agarwal won medal in the 58th Artistic Roller-Skating National Championship 2021
Reeva Agarwal of Class 7A bagged a gold and a bronze medal in the 58th Artistic Roller-Skating National Championship 2021 held in Chandigarh. She competed in the age category 11-14 years and her hard work paid off, training online with her coach, throughout the lockdown. It was only in the month of December that she had started physical training. She participated in a quartet, a group event and their team secured a gold! She participated in two solo events and bagged a bronze in solo free style dance.

Arjun Kanoi of Class 8 won a Bronze Medal at the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) 2019, in the Equestrian Show Jumping Team Event, in the Children 1 category, held at EIRS in Bangalore.
He also won 8 medals at the Mumbai Horse Show/Maharashtra Equestrian Games 2019 held at Amateur Rides Club, Mumbai.

Reeva Agrawal of Class 5 A won a Gold and a Bronze medal in the under 12 category, at the 57th National Artistic Skating Championship.
Equestrian
Anvay Shah of Class 12 won a Silver Medal at the Junior National Equestrian Competition (JNEC) 2019 in Equestrian Show Jumping Team Event.
Hridhika Vora
Hridhika Vora of Class 10 B finished tied 3 rd in the Albatross International Tournament, in which players from Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and Vietnam participated.
It's A Gold!
Reeva Agrawal of Class 5 A won a Gold medal in the 30th Maharashtra State Artistic Skating Championship. She also won a Silver medal in free skating. She has qualified to represent Maharashtra at the Nationals, later this year.
Mainak Nistala at MSSA Table Tennis
Mainak Nistala of Class 9 won a GOLD Medal at the MSSA Annual Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament 2019, in the U-16 category.
The DAIS school team, comprising of Mainak Nistala, Rhiaan Jhaveri, Aadit Tibrewala, Devajna Gopal and Vivaan Khokani won the bronze medal.
Skating Siblings
Siddhant Mehendale of Class 4 A and Reya Mehendale of Class 7 B, won at the Mumbai District Speed Skating Competition and have qualified for State level competition .
Siddhant won 2 Gold medals in the 500mt and 1000mt races and a Silver medal in the road race in the 9-11 years age category.
Reya won 3 Silver medals in the same races and 1 more Silver in the girls 11-14 years age category .
Golden Girl, Anika!
At the ISSO Gymnastics Competition, Anika Singi won Gold in all the apparatus routines, in the under 17 age category.
She also won the overall individual championship and now she qualifies for the SGFI Nationals to be held later this year.
A Double Whammy
Saisha Gupta and Ahaan Bhansali won Silver medals at the ISSO National Squash Championships held in Rajasthan. Both of them won the runners up trophy for our school. They also earned the most promising squash players award.
CISCE NATIONAL GAMES 2019
Anoushka Shah of Class 6 B represented DAIS at the Zonal/Regionals of CISCE NATIONAL GAMES 2019.
She participated in the U-14 girls, in Beam/ Floor/Vault & Bar Apparatus. Anoushka won a Bronze medal and she has been officially selected to represent Maharashtra at the CISCE NATIONALS to be held in November.
Gold Medals on the 'Table'
Mainak Nistala of Class 9C, won a Gold Medal at the IBSO Nationals Table Tennis U-17, individual category.
The DAIS team won the Gold in the team event at the same event.

Mainak Nistala of Class 9 C won a Gold medal in the U-19 and a Bronze medal in the U-21 years in the US NY Table Tennis Open held at Westchester NY.

Sanah Shroff secured third place in her category in The West Zone Feeder Tournament played at Oxford Golf course.

Anoushka Shah of Class 6 B won a Bronze medal in Artistic Balancing Beam, a Gold Medal in Artistic team championship and 4th place in Artistic Vault Gymnastics at the Mumbai District Gymnastics Championship 2018-19 in the Under -12 years Girls' category.
Ahana Shah 3A
Ahana Shah of Class 3 A won a Gold medal in the Artistic Team Championship at the Mumbai District Gymnastics Championship. She also came in 4th in the Artistic Floor routine and 3rd in the Balancing Beam routine.
Arjun Kanoi, 7A Equestrian Show Jumping
Arjun Kanoi of Class 7A has won a Silver medal in Show Jumping (Top score) and a Bronze medal in Show Jumping (Normal) in the Children's category at the Japalouppe Annual Equestrian Games 2019.
Reeva Agrawal Skating
Reeva Agrawal, of Class 4 A, secured the third place and won a bronze medal for Maharashtra, in the quartet category, at the 56th National Roller Skating Championship held in Vishakapatnam.
Advait Razdan - Golf
Advait Razdan of Class 3 A won the 1st place in Category D in the Indian Junior Golf Tournament held at Kalhaar Blues and Greens Golf Club, Ahmedabad, in Dec 2018. In addition to the trophy, he received a signed memento by Anirban Lahiri, a well recognized Indian professional golfer.
Junior Nationals Equestrian
Arjun Kanoi of Class 7A qualified for the Junior Nationals Equestrian Competition (JNEC - Category 12 to 14 years) to be held in December in Kolkata. His 1st qualifier was in Embassy Riding School, and his 2nd and final qualifier was in Ride to Live Academy earlier this year.
National Athletics Competition 2018-19
Arnav Bangera of Year 11 IB won 2 Gold medals in the 1500 Mtrs and 800 Mtrs. run and a BRONZE medal in the Long Jump at the 1st IBSO National Athletics Competition 2018-19. Arnav now qualifies for the National School Games 2018 Competition.
Skating Champ - Reeva Agrawal
Reeva Agrawal of Class 4 A won 2 Gold medals, one in free skating and the other in quatrats, at the 29th Maharashtra Roller skating Championship, 2018. She will be representing Maharashtra at the Nationals at Vishakapatnam.
National Roller Hockey
Lekh Parekh of Class 9 B was the Goal keeper for Team Maharashtra at the National Roller Hockey at Kurukshetra in January 2018.
He has been selected for the all an India Camp to be held in May 2018, to select the India Team for the World Games to be held in China.
Skating Champs
Reya Mehendale of Class 5 B won a Gold medal in Inline skating at the Open Mumbai speed skating championship.
Siddhant Mehendale of Class 2 A won two silver medals and a bronze in the 28th Bombay District speed skating Championship, as well as a bronze in the Open Mumbai speed skating championship.
GOLF
Sanah Shroff of Class 6 won the FIRST PRIZE in the RUIA Cup, which is a Golf tournament conducted at Willingdon Sports Club. This tournament is open to all kids from various other clubs.
Sanah won in the category of Handicap 25 to 36.
She was also the RUNNER UP in the same 25 to 36 handicap category in the Guzder Cup at the same venue.

Anika Singi of Class 7B won the gold in the MSSA gymnastics competition in balance beam.
ATHLETICS
At the AISM State Athletic Championship 2017, Arnav Bangera of Class X A won the following medals:
- 1500 mtrs. – GOLD medal
- 800 mtrs. – GOLD medal
- 400 mtrs. - BRONZE medal
Arnav was awarded the INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP Trophy for Boys Under 17 age category.
- Krishni Jumani of Class 9 C won a Silver Medal in the 100 M. sprint and a Bronze Medal in the 200 M. sprint in the U-16 age category.
- Isabelle Lobo of IB Year 11 won 2 Gold Medals in the 400 M. sprint and in the 200 M. sprint, in the U-18 age category.
- Yash Sukhwani of IB Year 11 won a Silver Medal in the 200 M. sprint, in the U-18 age category.
- Arnav Bangera of Class 9 A won a Silver Medal in the 800 M. run in the U-16 age category.
