Praakruti: A Step Towards Sustainable Futures

Ishaan Surve, a Grade 11 student, was invited to showcase his startup, Praakruti, at the ANANTA Sustainable Exhibition & Conclave by IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry on January 9-10, 2025. Praakruti focuses on sustainability in the Indian toy sector by connecting tribal communities to urban consumers and utilizing a zero-waste model. The startup reinvests 50% of its profits into tribal welfare and aims to develop a cyclical economy.

 

 

 

In addition, Ishaan has introduced sustainability concepts to over 500 underprivileged students through sessions at government-affiliated schools, promoting the use of nature in creative projects. Praakruti is a testament to Ishaan's commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact.
