    Nivedita - YMCA Aquatic Champion


    Nivedita Shah of Class 8 C participated in the YMCA Open 2024, where she won:

    • 3 individual Gold medals in Backstroke, Freestyle and Individual Medley

    • 2 silver medals in Butterfly and Breaststroke

    Additionally, she also won 2 Gold medals in the Relays.


    Nivedita was awarded the Championship Trophy in the Girls' u/14 years category.



    Rising Star - Prisha Premnarayen


    Prisha Premnarayen of Class 1A participated in the Swimming gala at Khar Gymkhana, where she secured 2nd place in Breaststroke and 3rd place in Freestyle.



    DAIS Makes a Mark at the 67th National School Games 2023-2024


    At the prestigious 67th National School Games 2023-2024 conducted by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in Delhi, Shruti Swamy of class 9A, gave an outstanding performance and bagged the following honours:


    • Gold medal in 100m Butterfly stroke

    • Bronze medal in 50m Butterfly stroke

    • Gold medal in 4*100m Medley relay

    • Silver medal in 4*100m Freestyle

    Representing IBSSO the Under-17 Girls team bagged the "Individual Championship" at the National School Games.



    Kiara Bangera, IBDP Class 12, won a Bronze medal (50 mtrs. Butterfly) on 4-Jan-2024 at the 67th National School Games Swimming 2023-24, Delhi.

    Swimming Star


    Representing DAIS at the Prabodhan 44th Annual Interschool Swim Meet 2023, Tarini Mazumder of Class 10 C won 3 Gold medals in the U-16 years category in 100 m breaststroke, 100 m butterfly stroke, and 200 m IM. She also won 2 Silver medals in 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle. Tarini was awarded the Individual Championship for Girls U-16 years.


    Diving into Victory


    Shruti Swamy of Class 9 A gave a fantastic performance at the CCI Swimming Meet and GMAAA Interschool Swimming Meet.

    At the CCI Shruti won in the following events:

    • Gold medal in 50m Butterfly stroke

    • Gold medal in 50m Backstroke

    • Gold medal in 50m Freestyle

    • Gold medal in 50m Breaststroke

    • Gold medal in 100m IM

    She also won the Individual Championship at the CCI Swimming Meet.


    At the GMAAA she won in the following events:

    • Gold medal in 100m Breaststroke

    • Gold medal in 100m IM

    • Gold medal in 50m Freestyle

    • Gold medal in 100m Freestyle

    • Gold medal in 100m Butterfly stroke


    She also won the Individual Championship at the GMAAA Interschool Swimming Meet.



    Sisterly Success


    Tarini Mazumder of Class 10 C won 3 Gold medals in the Under-16 years in 100 m breaststroke, 100 m butterfly stroke, 200 m IM and 2 Silver medals in 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle, at the Prabodhan 44th Annual Interschool Swim Meet 2023.

    She won the Individual Championship for Girls Under-16 years.


    Tanishi Mazumder of Class 6 A won 5 Gold medals in the Under-12 years in 50 m breaststroke, 50 m butterfly stroke, 200 m IM, 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle, at the same event.

    Tanishi won the Individual Championship for Girls Under-12 years.


    Satya and Karam Veer Make a Mark


    Karam Veer Khubchandani of Class 4B participated in 76th Open Swimming Gala conducted by The Cricket Club of India in the Boys Under-10 division. He earned a total tally of 2 individual medals in the following events:

    • 100mt Individual Medley - Bronze

    • Butterfly Stroke 50mt - Silver

    In the 4X50mt Medley & Freestyle relay, he won a Silver medal & Gold medal respectively.

    At the same event, Satya Veer Khubchandani of Class 4A participated in the Boys Under-10 division and earned a total tally of 3 individual medals in the following events:

    • 100mt Individual Medley - Silver

    • Butterfly Stroke 50mt - Bronze

    • Freestyle 50mt - Bronze

    In the 4X50mt Medley & Freestyle relay, he won a Silver medal & Gold medal respectively.

    Satya Veer was conferred with the Boys Under 10 Runners Up Champions Trophy.


    Mishka Gupte 2A-Interclub swimming gala


    Mishka Gupte of Class 2 A, won a Bronze medal in Backstroke Under-10 girls at the Annual swimming gala organised by Sportiqo Swim School. The tournament was held between YMCA clubs across the city and all clubs where Sportico training is conducted.


    MSSA Aquatic Championship 2023


    • At the MSSA Annual Inter School Aquatic Championship 2023, Shruti Swamy of Class 9 A participated in the Girls Under-16 category and earned 3 Individual Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals.


    • She set 2 New Meet Records in 100mt BreastStroke and 100mt Butterfly obliterating a 13-year-old record set in 2010. She demonstrated an exceptional performance.


    • Shruti was also conferred with the Girls Under-16 Individual Championship.


    • She won in the following:

    • Breast Stroke 100mt - Gold

    • Butterfly 100mt - Gold

    • 200mt Individual Medley- Gold

    • BackStroke 100mt - Silver

    • Freestyle 100mt - Silver


    Representing DAIS, she along with her teammates won Gold in Under-16 years 4X50mts Freestyle Relay and 4x50 mts Medley Relay.

    • Kabir Khubchandani of Class 6 B participated in the Boys Under-12 category and earned a total tally of 5 Individual Gold Medals in the following events:

    • Freestyle 100mt - Gold

    • Butterfly 100mt - Gold

    • Backstroke 100mt - Gold

    • BreastStroke 100mt - Gold

    • 200mt Individual Medley - Gold


    Along with his teammates, they won a Bronze position in the Boys Under-16 years 4X50mts Freestyle relay.

    Kabir was conferred with the Boys Under-12 Individual Championship.

    • Karam Veer Khubchandani of Class 4 B swam in the Boys Under-10 division and earned a total tally of 2 Individual Medals in the following events:

    • Freestyle 50mt - Gold

    • Butterfly 50mt - Silver

    Along with his teammates, they won a Bronze position in the Boys Under-16 years 4X50mts Freestyle relay.

    Karam Veer was conferred with the Boys Under-10 Individual Championship.

    • The DAIS Girls team swam the U-16 4 X 50 freestyle relay and 4X50 medley relay. They won gold medals in both relays. The DAIS Champion Girls team consisted of:

    • The DAIS Boys team won the Bronze medal in the U-16 years, 4 X 50m. freestyle relay The DAIS Champion team consisted of:

    • Tanishi Mazumder of Class 6 A won the Gold medal in the U-12, 100-meter butterfly stroke, and a silver medal in 100 meter freestyle. She was also a part of the U-16, 4X 50 freestyle and 4X50 medley relay teams where they won gold medals.


    • Nivedita Shah of Class 8 C won a Silver medal in 100 mt. breaststroke, in the Under-14 girls’ category.


    • She was part of the girls' Under-16 relay team which won 2 Gold medals in 4×50 mt. Freestyle and 4×50 mt. Medley relay.


    • Mannat Kaur Tripathi of Class 4 A won two Bronze medals in the Under-10, 50-meter freestyle and backstroke.


    Golden Strokes


    Anahita Mehendale of Class 3 A won a Gold medal in Freestyle Relay, 4 × 50m at the Chembur Gymkhana Invitational Zonal Swimming Tournament in the Under 9 years category.


    Sisters Swim to Success


    At the Chembur Gymkhana Swim Meet Mannat Kaur Tripathi of Class 4 A was awarded medals for:

    • 50mt Freestyle - Gold medal

    • 50mt Butterfly stroke – Silver medal

    • 50mt Breaststroke - Silver 4. 50mt Backstroke – Silver medal


    Mannat was conferred the Best Swimmer in the Girls Under 9 category.

    Tamanna Tripathi of Class 7A participated in the U13 age category and won:


    • Backstroke- Bronze medal

    • Relay - Gold medal


    Kiara wins the Individual Championship Trophy


    Kiara Bangera Year 12 won 3 Gold medals at the ISSO Aquatic Nationals held at Prometheus School, in September 2023. The tally of medals included:

    • 100m Freestyle

    • 50m Freestyle

    • 50m Butterfly


    Kiara also won the Under-19 Girls’ Individual Championship Trophy


    Keren at the ISSO Aquatic Nationals


    Keren Wadhwani of Year 11 won a Gold medal in the 800 m Freestyle and a Bronze medal in the 200 m Backstroke in the Under-19 age category, at the ISSO Aquatic Nationals held at Prometheus School, in September 2023.



    A Thrilling Performance


    Nivedita Shah of Class 8 won 5 gold medals at the ISSO National Aquatic Championships. She won 3 Individual gold medals in:

    • 200m Backstroke

    • 50m Backstroke

    • 200m Individual Medley Relay

    • She also won 2 Relay Gold medals


    Due to her stupendous performance, Nivedita won the ‘Best Swimmer’ title in the women’s Under-14 category.


    Veer Earns Laurels for DAIS


    Veer Mehta of Year 11 won 3 individual Gold medals and 1 Silver medal at the ISSO National Aquatic Championships. He won 3 individual gold medals in:

    • 50m Backstroke

    • 100m Backstroke

    • 200m Backstroke


    Veer and his team won a Silver medal in the boys' under-17 relay. He also got the boys’ under -17 individual championship trophy.


    Kabir Dives into Success


    Kabir Khubchandani of Class 6 B participated in the ISSO National Games 5th Edition where he won 2 individual Gold medals in the Boys Under-14 category.

    • 400 mt. freestyle – Gold medal

    • 200 mt. Individual Medley – Gold medal


    Along with his teammates, Kabir also won a Silver in the Boys Under-17 freestyle 4X100mts relay.


    Tanishi Makes a Splash


    Tanishi Mazumder of Class 6 A participated in the ISSO National Games 2023 in the Under-14 category. She got a Bronze medal in the 100-meter freestyle and 2 Gold medals in the 4X 100 freestyle relay and the 4X100 medley relay.



    U-17 Relay Girls Relay Gold


    A Team Effort
    DAIS participated in the ISSO National Games 2023, on 14th and 15th September 2023. Our Under-17 relay team consisting of Shruti Swamy (9A), Tarini Mazumder (10C), Ashlesha Bakshi (10B) and Sanaya Shetty (8C) won the Gold medal in the 4 X 100 freestyle.

    Shruti Swamy of Class 9 A won the following medals at the ISSO National Games 2023-2024 for Swimming.

    • 50m Butterfly

    • 100m Butterfly

    • 200m Breaststroke


    She also won a Gold in the 4*100m Freestyle Relay.
    She qualifies to represent the school at the SGFI National School Games (2023-24) scheduled later this year.


    ISSO National Games 5th Edition


    Sanaya Shetty of Class 8 participated in the ISSO National Games 5th Edition from the 13th to 16th September and she won the following medals.


    • Gold medal - 50m Breaststroke

    • Silver medal - 100m Breaststroke

    • Bronze medal - 200m Breaststroke

    • 100mt Butterfly Stroke - Gold

    • Gold medal, along with her teammates-4*100m Freestyle Relay


    DAIS scores at the Junior National Aquatic Championship


    At the "National Aquatic Championship 2023 (Sub Junior & Junior)", conducted at Bhubaneswar, Odisha in August 2023, our students represented Maharashtra and were awarded medals in different categories:


    Kabir Khubchandani of Class 6 B won:


    • Bronze medal in 200 mts. Freestyle

    • Bronze medal in 200 mts. Individual Medley


    Shruti Swamy of Class 10 A showcased a brilliant performance and won the following medals:


    • Gold medal in 50 mts Breaststroke

    • Silver medal in 100 mts Breaststroke

    • Silver medal in 4x100 mts Medley relay



    This is a significant achievement and is the outcome of months of hard preparation, dedication and effort. It involved a rigorous training schedule early in the morning, followed by physical training in the evening.

    • 2 Silver medals in Freestyle National relays.

    Shruti Brings Glory to DAIS


    At the recently conducted Maharashtra State Selection Trials in Pune, our swimming champion Shruti Swamy of Class 10 A put up a terrific show, winning the following medals:


    • First in the 100 metre Breaststroke Event

    • First in the 200 metre Breaststroke Event

    • First in the 50 metre Breaststroke Event

    • First in the 50 metre Butterfly Event

    • Second in the 100 metre Butterfly Event

     

    She has qualified to represent Maharashtra State for Swimming at the 49th Junior National Aquatic Championship 2023, in 5 events - 100m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly and 100m Butterfly.

    She is also part of the Maharashtra State Medley Relay Team.

    Kabir Sets New Record


    Kabir Khubchandani of Class 6B participated in the GMAAA Annual Sub Junior & Junior Aquatic Meet 2023 which was held at the Ozone Swimming Pool.


    Kabir earned 5 Gold medals and set 3 New Meet Records in the following events:


    • 100mt Freestyle - Gold - New Meet Record

    • 400mt Freestyle - Gold - New Meet Record

    • 200mt Individual Medley - Gold - New Meet Record

    • 100mt Butterfly Stroke - Gold

    • 200mt Freestyle - Gold

    Kabir was conferred with the Best Swimmer Boys' Group III at the meet.


    Shruti Swamy of class 10A shines at 66th National School Games 2023


    At the 66th National School Games 2023 conducted by SGFI, Shruti Swamy of class 10A bagged 2 silvers in; 200 m breast stroke, and 100 m Butterfly and a bronze in 100 m breast stroke. She also created NMR in 100 m Butterfly.



    A Celebration of Excellence


    At a ceremony conducted by Mumbai Aquatics (GMAAA) on the 26th of May 2023, Kabir Khubchandani of Class 5B was felicitated with an award for ‘Excellence In Swimming’ For Boys Group III for the year 2022. The awards were decided based on the highest FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) points achieved in the events held in 2022.

    Mannat Kaur Tripathi of Class 3A participated in the GMAAA Annual Senior Open & Lower Age Group Swim Meet and she won the Individual Championship Girls’ Under 9 age group title. She was awarded medals for:

    At the 36th Otters Swimming Championship 2023, Shruti Swamy of Class 9A added many more feathers to her hat. She won 2 Gold medals in Medley and Freestyle Relay and Silver medals in 100m Breaststroke and Backstroke, 200m Freestyle, 100m Butterfly and 200m IM, in the Under 15 Girls category. She won the Runner's Up Trophy in the Girls’ Under 15 category.

    Sanaya Shetty of Class 7A took participated in the YMCA swimming competition and was awarded the Individual championship in the girls U/14 category for her achievement in the following events.



    Shruti Swamy's stunning swimming achievements at the Prabodhan Interschool meet


    Shruti Swamy, class 8A had stunning achievements at the 43rd Prabodhan Inter School Swim Meet held on 6th January 2023, winning several medals.


    She created NMR (New Meet Record) in the 100m breaststroke and BMR (Better Meet Record) in 100m fly, 100m back, 100m free, 200m IM.

    She has also been selected for Khelo India Youth Games to be held in the month of February and will be representing Maharashtra.

    Representing DAIS at the G.M.A.A.A. Inter School / Jr. College Swimming Meet 2022, in the Boys Under 11 group, Kabir Khubchandani of class 5B earned a total tally of 5 Gold Medals in the following events:

    Shruti Swamy of class 8A showcased a fantastic performance at the MSSA(Mumbai School Sports Association) 57th Annual Inter School Aquatic Championship conducted on the 12th and 13th of November at Andheri Sports Complex,.

    She established a New Meet Record in 100m Breast Stroke in the Under 14 Girls Category and bagged a Gold.

    She won Silver Medals in 100m Butterfly, 100m Free Style, 100m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley.

    Tanishi Mazumder of Class 5 participated in the Viva Vibgyor Inter School Swimming Competition. She came second and won a silver medal in the butterfly stroke.

    Shruti Swamy of Class 8A exhibited a fantastic performance at the MSSA(Mumbai School Sports Association) 57th Annual Inter School Aquatic Championship.

    Shruti set a New Meet Record in the 100m Breaststroke in the Under 14 Girls Category, obliterating the old Record, and bagging a Gold medal.

    She won Silver medals in the 100m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley.


    Kabir Khubchandani shines in Inter School Aquatic Championship 2022


    Kabir Khubchandani of Class 5B participated in the MSSA Annual Inter School Aquatic Championship 2022. In the Boys Under 12 group, he displayed great endurance and energy by earning a total tally of 5 Gold Medals in the following events:


    Gold Galore!


    At the GMAAA Senior Open Category - Mumbai Aquatics, Shruti Swamy of Class 8 A, displayed a fantastic performance and won 5 Gold medals in the individual Category, in 200m Breast Stroke, 100m Breast Stroke, 200m Butterfly, 200m IM, and 400m IM. She also got a cash Prize of Rs 5000.

    Shruti was also part of the Relay Teams in Free Style and Medley Relay. She won gold medals in the relays and their team established a New Meet Record in the Relay.

    Anahita Mehendale of Class 2 A participated in the Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association (GMAAA) and won 2 Gold medals (4x25 m. Medley Relay and 4x25 M. Free Style Relay) and a Silver medal in 50 mts. Breast Stroke in the girls under-7 category.

    Tarini Sangani of Class 2 B, who is part of the Otters Club Swim Team in the U-8 age category, won the Silver medal in the Medley Relay at the GMAA Swim Meet.

    At the 4th ISSO National Swimming Championships, Vedant Vora won a Gold medal in the 50 mts. butterfly and a Bronze medal in 100 mts. Butterfly. He has been chosen for SGFI Games.

    Kabir participated swimming trials

    Kabir has qualified to represent Maharashtra State at the 38th Sub Junior National Aquatic Championship 2022 later this month. He will compete in the 5 events, and will also join the relay team for the 50mt free and medley relay events.

    Shruti has qualified to represent Maharashtra State for Swimming at the 48th Junior National Aquatic Championship-22,to be held in Odisha July 2022, in 4 events - 100m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley, and 400m Individual Medley.

    Kiara Qualifies for the National Swimming Championships


    Kiara Bangera of Class X C participated in the Maharashtra State Selection Trials for Jr. Nationals 2022, held at Pune for Girls’ Under-17 age category, qualifying for the National Swimming Championships. The Jr. Nationals 2022 will be held at Bhubaneshwar in July 2022.

    Kabir Wins Individual Championship


    Kabir Khubchandani of Class 5B participated in the 35th Otters Club Open Swim Gala 2022 and was awarded medals for the following achievements in the Boys Under 11 category:

    Kiara felicitated by Defence Minister


    Kiara Bangera was felicitated by Shri Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister of India, at a ceremony in New Delhi on 27th September, 2021.


    She was felicitated for winning a silver and bronze medal in Aquatics at the World School Sports Games, held in Belgrade, Serbia, from September 11 to 19, 2021.


    Kiara Swims to Victory


    Kiara Bangera of Class X C wins a Silver and a Bronze medal in Swimming (400 mtrs Freestyle & 200 mtrs. Butterfly stoke) and 4th place in both 100 mtrs. Butterfly & 200 mtrs. Freestyle at the ISF U15 World School Sport Games 2021, Belgrade, Serbia.


    World School Sport Games is a largest International Multi-Sport Event for 13-15 year old school students from around the world. 2500 athletes from 36 countries participated in 14 sports, from 11th Sep to 19th September 2021.

    Kiara Bangera of Class 9 C, won a Bronze medal in the Freestyle 200 mtrs. (Women's Category) at the All India Invitational Swimming Competition (under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India) held at Bangalore.

    Jispa Swims for a Cause


    Jispa Doshi of Class 11 participated in the SUBODH DANKE MEMORIAL 14TH MARATHON OPEN SWIM GALA organised by Khar Gymkhana.

    In the open women's age category, she swam 5 km, clocking a time of 1 hour 8 minutes and 44 seconds, winning the Silver medal. She also won prize money of Rs. 6,000/- which she will donate to an NGO for animal rights.


    Jispa Strikes Gold


    Jispa Doshi of Class 11 participated in the Mumbai Inter Club YMCA competition held under the aegis of the GMAAA, in swimming.

    She won 5 individual gold and 1 gold and 1 silver in the relays.

    Her performance also earned her the overall championship trophy in her age category.

    At the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 Kiara Bangera won a Silver medal in 200 mtrs Freestyle and a Bronze medal in 800 mtrs Freestyle in the Under 17 Girls age Category.

    Jispa's achievements at School National Games 2019


    Jispa Doshi of IB Year 11 participated in the School Games Federation of India Swimming Nationals.

    She won a bronze medal in the 50mts and 200mts backstroke events and a silver medal in the 100- meter backstroke.

    She also represented the International Boards School Association in the 4x100 freestyle and 4x100 medley relay.


    Veer Mehta's Swimming Achievements at JITO


    Veer Mehta of Class 7 won two Gold medals in the 50 mts back stroke and 50 mts freestlye; and two Silver medals in the 50 mts breast stroke and butterfly, at the JITO Regional Swim Meet.

    He has qualified to participate at the Nationals at Chennai.


    It's Raining GOLD


    At the 65th SCHOOL NATIONAL GAMES 2019, Kiara Bangera won 2 GOLD medals and broke the NATIONAL record in both- the 200 mtrs. Freestyle, Girls Under 14 age group and in the 100 mtrs Butterfly stroke, U14 girls.

    At the Junior Swimming Meet 2019, organized by Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association (GMAAA), Jispa Doshi of IB Yr. 11 won 6 individual Gold medals and 2 Relay Gold medals for the school. Jispa also won the Individual Championship in her age category.

    At the Junior College Swimming Meet 2019, organized by Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association (GMAAA), Muskaan Patel of IBDP Y12 won 6 individual Gold medals and 2 Relay Gold medals, breaking 5 records and creating a new one, in the Girls Under 19 category.

    Muskaan Patel of IBDP won several medals

    Muskaan Patel of IBDP Y12 participated and won several medals at the recently conducted 2nd ISSO Swimming Nationals held in Pune.


     

    Muskaan qualifies fot the School Games Federation of India Nationals and will be representing ISSO in the 50 and 100 meters freestyle and the relay team.

    Kiara Bangera of Class VII A won a number of medals, all Gold, at the 3rd SFI (Swimming Federation of India)- All India Inter Club Swimming Competition 2018.

    72nd Glenmark Senior National Aquatic Championships - Trivandrum, Kerala


    Kareena Shangta won 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals at the 72nd Glenmark Senior National Aquatic Championships 2018.

    It was Kareena's first appearance in the Senior National Aquatic Championship, where she was one of the youngest participants competing with the top Indian swimmers who represent India at international meets.

    She gave brilliant performances in all three categories of breast stroke.

     


    A National Winner


    At the 35th Glenmark Junior And Sub Junior - National Aquatics Championships 2018, Kiara Bangera of Class VII A performed exceptionally well and bagged 4 Gold medals in all her individual events and 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal each in the relays in the Girls' Group III category.

     

    Her outstanding performance won her the ‘Best Swimmer’ title in the Girls' Group III category.


    At the Maharashtra State Swimming Selection Trials conducted by Swimming Federation of India, Kiara Bangera of Class VII A and Kareena Shankta won the following medals:

    SGFI Swimming Nationals 2017


    Kareena Shankta won 4 Gold medals in the Girls U-14 category at the 63rd National School Games ( Swimming and Diving) held in New Delhi. She also set two National records and 4 New Meet records (NMR) in the following categories:

    Kareena Shankta broke two National records, winning a host of medals in the Maharashtra School Games Swimming competition.

    She has been selected to represent Maharashtra in the  50 m; 100 m; 200 m breast stroke; and 100 m freestyle relay in  the forthcoming Nationals conducted by School Games Federation of India.

    At the XXI ASISC NATIONALS Athletic Meet 2017 (ICSE Schools), Arnav Bangera of Class 10 A won a GOLD medal in 800 mtrs. and a SILVER medal in 1500 mtrs. race in the Boys Under 17 age category.

    At the Maharshtra State Swimming Championship held from June 3 to June 6, 2016:


    • Stuti Daga won 3 Gold medals in 50M and 100M breast stroke and in the girls medley relay in Girls' U14 category. She will represent the State in 3 races.

    • Jispa Doshi won a Silver medal in 50M back stroke and she will represent Maharashtra in this event. She won a Bronze in 200M Back stroke and 3 Golds in the Relays.

    • Kiara Bangera won a Gold medal in the U10 Girls' Freestyle and Medley Relay. She will represent Maharashtra in the relay. Kiara won 2 Bronze medals in 50M Back and 100M Free Style.


    At the Mumbai Selection GMAAA Swimming Championships the following DAIS swimmers excelled:


    • Jispa Doshi got a gold in 200 m back stroke, a bronze in the 200 m free style and a gold in the medley relay.

    • Stuti Daga won a gold in the 50m, 100m and 200m breast stroke. She also came 4th in the 50m free style and 6th in the 50m back stroke.

    • Kiara Bangera won 2 gold, 3 silver and the runner-up trophy. This qualifies her for the States selection next month.
