Success at Sydney - Team R Factor at the Finals

First Robotics Competition

Team R Factor, our young and ambitious team, captured hearts and minds and made a lasting impact at the Sydney Regionals of the First Robotics Competition. The team won the prestigious award at the Sydney Regionals and is now a World finalist for the First Robotics Competition at Houston, USA.

The competition was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become scientists, engineers and technologists.

The team was represented by 3 students, of which Aarushi Majumder (Grade XI) and Shiv Kampani (Grade VIII) are from DAIS. This was followed by a gruelling question-answer session to understand the team's 3 year long journey and the intense efforts put in by the team comprising, among others, of Hitansh Doshi ( Grade XII), Adhyyan Sekhsaria - Team Captain ( Grade XI), Krish Mehta ( Grade XI) Riyaan Bakhda ( Grade X) and Tanay Nistala ( Grade XI) in the last 9 months leading to the competition.
