Shaurya Sule, Rehaan Dhandhia and Ria Sanghavi - 3rd at World Robotics Olympiad - Internationals

Shaurya Sule, Rehaan Dhandhia and Ria Sanghavi of Class 6B won third place for their performance as Team Portkey in the World Robotics Olympiad - Internationals in the Future Innovators - Elementary Category held at Panama from November 7-9, 2023.

The team, led by coach Kashyap Shah, competed against national teams nominated by 30 countries around the world.

The mission at WRO this year was to look for robotic solutions that help to make shipping over water more efficient, more safe, and more environmentally friendly. The team’s product, AquaFlo, envisioned and showcased a fully automated cargo transport system operating in a network of under sea-bed tunnels with a navigation and tracking system, traffic management system and early warning signal system along with automated unloading at ports.
