the international stage. On December 4, 2024, three
alumni—Abhishek Advani, Harshjit Sethi, and Saloni—shared
their inspiring journeys of passion, perseverance, and
innovation, motivating the next generation to contribute to
India’s growing global influence.

Abhishek Advani: Transitioning from law to founding Advani
London Bombay, Abhishek merged traditional Indian
craftsmanship with modern design, transforming
perceptions of Indian luxury in global markets. His story
underscores the importance of representation and
embracing cultural heritage to achieve success and inspire
others.

Harshjit Sethi: A Sequoia Capital professional, Harshjit
emphasized India’s booming digital ecosystem, highlighting
opportunities in technology fueled by growing internet users
and data consumption. He urged students to align their
skills and passions with emerging trends, positioning
themselves to lead India’s tech-driven transformation.

Saloni Mayekar: Saloni’s journey from cancer research to
healthcare entrepreneurship demonstrates resilience and
adaptability. While her app Naima faced challenges, she
pivoted to Nua, a menstrual wellness brand, creating
innovative solutions and driving cultural change in women’s
health in India.

Abhishek, Harshjit, and Saloni exemplify how passion,
adaptability, and vision can propel individuals to success
while positioning India as a global leader. Their stories
inspire the next generation to innovate, embrace change,
and lead with purpose in shaping India’s future on the world
stage.
