Growth and Change

To deepen the LKG learners’ understanding that all living things grow, we welcomed Ms. Rashmi from Magical Minds, to interact with our young learners. Ms. Rashmi discussed with the students, the understanding that with growth there is change. As ‘Change’ is one of the key concepts of our Unit, ‘Sharing the Planet’, she used the example of how the caterpillar grows and metamorphoses into a butterfly. She brought with her a caterpillar growing kit, which was left in the classroom for the learners to daily observe and record the changes the caterpillar goes through before it transforms into a butterfly. On its evolution, the butterfly was released into the school garden.
