Mr Amit Chandra has been named the Next Generation Philanthropic Leader by Forbes in 2013 for his work with Akanksha Foundation and Give India. He is also the managing director of Bain Capital. His inspiring talk is centred on the fallacy behind the concept of children are the future, in a world that values academic prowess over strength of character. He explained that the future is shaped by what we do today. Philanthropic activities do not only make you a better person, but also make you more successful in the long run. Children can make this world a better place by having an “I can” approach to face obstacles in their lives.
