Gayatri Bhatia, an alumni of DAIS, is the founder of Saucery. This start-up retails gourmet sauces from several different cuisines, allowing easy access to affordable, organic, and artisanal food.
The concept of ‘Saucery’ was inspired from Bhatia’s extensive stays abroad. She noticed a lack of time to prepare, and accessibility to, appetizing food — a struggle faced by many. Having worked in several multinational companies including GQ, My Favourite Table (Sydney), and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (Mumbai), she gained insight into what the Indian market needed and the public’s general preferences in foods and flavour. This led to the inception of a company that offers delicious, wholesome food.
Many people may have viewed her life choices as mistakes; however, Bhatia will highlight that there is no such thing as a bad decision in her talk.
