The Community Service programme at DAIS encourages students to understand the challenges faced by
people from a disadvantaged background and sensitises them to be compassionate towards them and
contribute meaningfully. Through our partnerships with NGOs, students are involved in designing solutions
or creating awareness among peers about gender equality, health issues, helping cancer survivors by
working with the Indian Cancer Society, teaching students from municipal schools, organising sports
tournaments, and so on.
Being international-minded, global citizens who are multilingual and inter-culturally aware, are the key traits
that benefit the IB Diploma graduates in their university studies and career pursuits. The College Counselling
team guides and supports students in their university choices, based on their aptitude and aspirations.
