RIMUN MUN Award winners SISMUN 2021

RIMUN this year was conducted in a hybrid format where half the ABMUN
delegates were physically present in Italy and half the delegates were
online on google meet. Because of the pandemic, we were unable to
travel to Italy for the MUN. That is why all the delegates participating Param Davda
from DAIS were online. This year we had 13 delegates participating
from DAIS. There were several Forums in RIMUN namely, the General Outstanding Delegate - ECOFIN
Assembly, the Economic and Social Committee, the Human Rights
Council, the Security Council, the Crisis Committee among others. Harshvardhaan Jhaveri
There were 6 committees in the General Assembly and there were Honourable Mention - ECOFIN
different interesting agendas discussed in all of them.
On the First day we had lobbying time We essentially formed blocs and Rushaan Agarwal
discussed among the other delegates, ideas or solutions to the given Verbal Mention - ECOFIN
agendas by the committee and tried forming a resolution on the
chosen agenda. It was essential to use the lobbying time wisely because
the entire committee's discussions depended upon the results of Kiara Maniar

On the second day we had our first two sessions of committee, for 4
hours each, where we discussed the selected resolutions. Majority of
the agendas were discussed on this day.
CMUN
On the third day of the committee, our last committee session discussed the last resolution.
On the last day of the Committee we had a plenary session, which was essentially the combination of 6 General Assembly committees
and several other committees combined together to debate on which we discussed one resolution from each committee. And we also Moksh Jhaveri Ahaan Jindal Kshitig Seth Hrishita Shah Adeetya Upadhyay
had the closing ceremony in which the awards were announced.
