Snow Leopard A Cultural Evening to remember - Visit to

Adventure Camp NMACC The Great Indian Musical: Civilization To Nation

The Snow Leopard Adventure trip was aimed at
introducing students to the natural and cultural heritage
of India from 16th March to 21st March in the Shivpuri
village in the Himalayan foothills. The trip included a wide
array of soft adventure activities such as trekking, zip
lining, games, nature walks and rafting. This trip gave a
splendid opportunity to all the students to have a joyful
time being with nature and their friends, especially
post pandemic.

Visit to Agro-Tourism farm

ICSE Grade 10A visited an agro-tourism farm, Saguna Baug, nestled in the foothills of
Matheran for their Geography and Environmental Science project on 28th April 2023.
The tour through the 55 acre farm enabled them to establish a direct connect with the
farmers and learn about the different aspects of sustainable agriculture. Students
learned about the various crops and cropping methods as well as the irrigation systems
that were used. They got a taste of farm life as they walked through the fields and
watched drag net fishing as well as a wonderful display of Mallakhamb. After a homely DAIS Resonates with 'The Sound of Music'
lunch prepared with ingredients grown in Saguna Baug, they left the farm with
newfound experiences and memories that would last a lifetime. DAIS was alive to 'The Sound of Music'! There was an excited buzz in the school auditorium, as in walked the von Trap Family singers.
The school organized a music workshop and an interaction between the cast and singers of the Broadway musical show 'The Sound
of Music' and our learners of Classes I to VI. The goal of this workshop was to broaden our students' cultural relevance, by exposing
them to different genres of music and to inspire their creative spirits.
