Poll Point App- Mudit Baid
IBDP Grade 12 student Mudit Baid created an app, Poll Point, to
better solicit citizen views on issues of local importance. The app has
been tested by Mumbai's local government (Bombay Municipal
Corporation) to make better expenditure decisions. Mudit Baid
received National TV news coverage by Republic TV and also received
acknowledgment by Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for
Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, India, for his achievement.
Pledge to Save Water
Let's cheer for Aaryaveer Munot, an inspiring learner
from Class 1. Our DAIS inquirer believes that we as
humans are responsible for the pollution and scarcity
of water on Earth, and so is taking action by writing
a pledge to save water. He's on a mission to get as
many people as possible to join him on this journey.
Welfare for Stray Dogs and Cats
Shanaya Thirwani of Class 3 took her learning beyond the classroom. She demonstrated
the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile attribute of 'caring' by raising some money
to donate to the NGO 'Humane Society for Strays' by baking and selling cookies.
