Message from the Founder & Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson

A school imparts knowledge to children, develops their skills, instils in them sound values, and nurtures
their curiosity for lifelong learning. It sets the context for their future learning and prepares them to be self-
motivated and self-directed learners. It also shapes their physical and mental health and provides them with
the environment for holistic development and well-being.

As we reflect on the two-decade journey of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) and the many
milestones that we have crossed, we have every reason to feel that we have always put in our heart and soul
to accomplish our mission in ways that are purposeful and meaningful. The guiding principles and the
educational ethos on which we founded DAIS have always informed and inspired us to steer this institution
of learning to the highest standards of excellence in everything we aspired for and accomplished.

Our educational programmes, co-curricular activities, community service engagements, international
exchange programmes, and the multifarious events we organise are designed to foster children's all-round
development and make them responsible citizens with a global outlook and cross-cultural appreciation.

Institution building is a discovery process that is anchored to its institutional compass while experimenting
with new knowledge and unfolding opportunities to stay at the cutting edge. It is also equally about
accomplishing the shared vision of all stakeholders. And, we have been fortunate that the entire DAIS
community wholeheartedly contributed to making our school what it is today and making this expedition a
voyage of excellence and a celebration of inclusion. At every step of the way, in every endeavour, our
students truly treasure and live our school motto: Dare to Dream… Learn to Excel.

With education's primary purpose being preparing children for the future, our school has embarked on a
new transformational journey to make it future-ready. The vision of our new Primary and Middle School,
Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School, the design of our new campus, and our transition to the new
curriculum pathways signify this thinking. Founded on proven philosophies and best practices of two
decades, our focus is to prepare children with 21st-century skills.

Our dedicated and caring educators teach our children not just with their minds but also with their hearts,
making learning enjoyable, purposeful and inclusive, and shaping them to be emotionally intelligent. They
