As part of the results review process, students who are under-achieving are
identified, and they along with their parents meet with the respective Programme
Coordinator and the section Head/Deputy Head. A detailed discussion, based on
understanding the learning gaps in the subjects, is followed by an action plan for
intervention by setting targets, and providing additional support and enrichment.
Progress towards targets set is evaluated regularly until the student is achieving at
or above expected levels. In cases where there are learning challenges, the Student
Care Department is also included in the review.
Transcripts are sent to Universities based on the performance in school exams and
assessments (Classes IX-XII) using a 4.0 scale GPA.
For ICSE the overall grade is calculated with an exam to assessment weightage of
80% to 20% whereas for IGCSE and IB Diploma the exam to assessment
weightage is 60% to 40% as represented by the Term Final Grade.

f) Orientations
Orientations are held for parents and students (where applicable) of all classes at
the beginning of each academic year, in order to orient them about the procedures
and practices followed at the school and the changes that come in with the transition.
Presentations are also conducted for subject choices wherever applicable.
g) Parent-Teacher Meetings
Teachers and parents discuss student progress, needs and next steps. It provides
both parties with opportunities to gather background information, seek
clarification and address concerns that impact learning.
3-Way Conference: Students set goals, with the guidance of teachers. During the
conference, they share their goals with their parents/guardians and involve them in
the process. Together, all stakeholders share in the learning, identifying goals/next
steps for progress.
Student-Led Conference (Primary & Middle school): Students share their
learning journey with parents/guardians, taking ownership and reflecting;
showcasing their learning via centers and engagements that they have created or
co-created with peers & teachers. This could include using their digital portfolios as
a guide for their learning journey in the PYP and MYP.
For classes VIII-XII there are two formal Parent-Teacher Meetings in an academic
year which is attended by students. A system of appointments is used to ensure
that parents have the opportunity to discuss their child's progress with the
