teachers. Parents are requested to note the dates of the Parent-Teacher Meetings
stated in the 'Important Dates for 2023-24' section on Page 76 of the diary and
ensure that they attend the meetings on the said dates.
No rescheduling of the dates of the Parent-Teacher Meetings as notified,

h) Homework
Learning to follow up work done in class, and to pursue a line of study individually
and without the immediate guidance of the teacher, is crucial to a student's
academic development. Parents are requested to ensure that children do their
homework (coursework, internal assessments or project work) regularly and they
follow the timelines wherever specified. By homework the school refers to all
forms of academic follow-up that takes place at home and not necessarily just
written work.
The purpose of homework is to encourage systematic study habits, develop time-
management skills, and ensure that there are appropriate amounts and balance of
homework assignments during the week. Projects, coursework and Internal
Assessments given to students in Classes VIII - XII are assessed against the set
criteria according to Board regulations and will contribute to the students' grades.
i) Communication Gadgets and Electronic Devices:
Students are not allowed to bring to school any electronic gadgets including
accessories, which are used for gaming, music, communication etc. The exceptions
are as under:
1) Students are permitted to bring their own laptops/Ipads/tablets from Class VI
onwards, subject to the condition they are used for learning in the classrooms
as directed by the teacher. These devices should not be used for any other
purposes such as communication, watching movies or playing games etc.
These devices should access the internet only through school provided Wi-Fi
and not through personal modems.
2) Students in the Primary School are provided with Ipads and Jiobooks which
enable them to effectively use technology as required in the classroom. These
devices should not be used for any other purposes such as watching movies
or playing games etc.
3) Use of mobile phones by students in the school is strictly prohibited.
Class XI - XII students are allowed to carry their mobile phones to school, but
must hand them over to the security at the gate at the time of entry to school
and collect them on their way out.
