that makes it fun. Aryaa Meghani, a member of YMM says, "As a leader I
conducted one session of the YMM. This session was my all time favourite
and an unforgettable experience. I realised that the responsibility
bestowed upon me, as a leader, was to ensure to provide the best quality
and most reliable information to the rest of the group, while ensuring their
engrossment. As such, I built on my idea of explaining new and relevant
terms with context to financial news. To do so, I took international current
affairs pertaining to certain topics and explained the complexities of the
topic in a simple manner. An example of this was my presentation of an explanation video on cryptocurrency. I also identified the
requirement of relatability in maintaining attention. Hence, when elucidating national news, I took to having open audience
conversations to increase involvement. The session overall, including the Shark Tank clip, turned out to be a riveting experience for me
as well as, hopefully, the rest of the group. I learned the importance of organisation, fine tuning of research, audience participation and
understanding complexities as well as explaining them. The YMM is everythin I expected it to be and more. I look forward to Tuesday
3 pm every week.
