Underwater Adventure
II Have you ever seen a race in a remarkable crystal-clear sea? A boastful

mermaid kept bragging about her speed. She asked every marine animal to
have a race with her, but everybody refused. However, one day the queen of
the sea declared that there will be an annual athletic meet. The sea species
A from different seas were invited to watch the meet. The rules were that there
would be two teams and one team member would have to pass through a
cave. Whoever crosses the finishing line first, will be the winner. The winner
will be awarded a treasure chest.
Soon the day arrived when the race was about to begin. The sea was
decorated with seaweeds, corals, shells and pebbles. The fragrance of
lip-smacking snacks filled the air. There were two teams- one of fish and one
of mermaids. From the fish team a rainbow fish named Dorpy decided to
participate in the race. She had scales which were as colourful as crayons. She
had two glittering eyes. She could see the mermaid team from over her tail.
Now, Dorpy was leading. On the other hand, all the other fish were like cats

They were all nervous about what would happen if the fish team didn’t win.
Meanwhile Dorpy heard a sound. Crash!! She turned back and noticed that the My Sensory Poem
mermaid was injured. Dorpy thought saving the life of the mermaid was better
than winning the race. She helped the mermaid to stand up. They held each –A Walk In The Park

Magical Shoes
Looking through the locked trunk of my grandfather, I found a pair of
his old army boots. As a memory, I kept them in my room.
One day, to see how much taller I have to be, to I become as big as my
grandfather, I wore the shoes in my bedroom. Suddenly, there was a
magical sound of a flute and on my television, I saw the image of my
mother coming down the steps to my room. My TV was off and it was very
strange. Where did the sound of the flute come from? While I was
thinking about all this, my mother entered my room wearing the same
dress that I had seen on the TV!!! I was shocked!! Then slowly I realised
that these shoes could show me the future, a few minutes earlier than it
happened. So, if I thought of doing something, these shoes would show
me what would happen a few minutes later because of my thoughts. So, I
kept the shoes in my secret box. Whenever I want to do something
mischievous, I quickly wear the shoes to see what the future holds for me.
In case I might get into trouble, I quickly avoid my naughty thoughts and
ideas. This way I could always stay out of getting into trouble. I think it is
my grandfather's gift for me to stay away from being too naughty and
only do things, which have good results.
