Some of our Independence Day Celebration GRADE 6 PROJECT DAY:
RELATIONSHIPS
ACTIVITIES At DAIS, our young learners develop knowledge and skill to engage
with the world as global citizens. Our curriculum not only outlines
inter disciplinary concepts to be taught over time, but also addresses
the skills and attitudes children need to succeed and grow. The Project
Day re-affirms this commitment and students this year collaborated,
created, communicated attributes of various subject interwoven
around the theme 'RELATIONSHIPS '
In an engaging virtual session joined by the parents, Grade 6 students
performed a skit, belted out songs demonstrated asanas, P.E
exercises and dance movements that explored different aspects of
relationships in each discipline and elaborated upon their importance.
It was a proud moment for every Indian as we approached our 75th
Independence Day on August 15, 2021. Being on the digital platform
did not deter our students and teachers, who resorted to digital Hindi Diwas
expression to demonstrate their patriotic fervour.
Celebrating this special day together is a way of honouring the unity in Our School believes in nurturing
our diverse society and celebrating its vibrant culture. Indian culture and values in
children right from an early age.
Hindi Diwas' was celebrated by
the Primary Section with
Republic Day Celebration • Songs in Hindi,
• Sharing important facts about
the language
• Reciting poems of great poets
Throughout the school, children
participated with enthusiasm
and expressed their love and
respect for Hindi.
Dussehra Assembly
To celebrate the widely popular festival of
Navratri, Grade 9 conceptualized an interactive
assembly to foster collaboration and effective
communication skills. This experience provided
Hindi and English learning opportunities and activities which
