ACTIVITIES Celebrating 75 Years Of Independence

DAIS students from LKG to Grade 12 were immersed in a week long celebration of a melee of
activities that finally culminated in a grand celebration of a whole school assembly on the 75th
Independence Day – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. DAIS students also decorated classrooms and
corridors with posters and sang songs to bring in a patriotic atmosphere. Students enacted skits
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations and held quiz competitions. They used art as a medium of expression with sketches of freedom
fighters. High school students also made inspiring speeches in the Hindi Rashtrabhasha recalling
their freedom fighters and using the slogan 'Jai Hind' as a mark of respect.
