of computer programming language as it develops 21st century high order
                thinking skills.

Through the robotics and coding programs we look at building a strong
foundation in the field of computational thinking and robotics. The school
provides students with the resources and the opportunity to use this knowledge
while representing it at global competitions like the FIRST Tech Challenge (Grades
VII-IX) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (Grades VIII- XII). The competition
curriculum also has the students espousing various causes including inclusion and
gender diversity by providing equal opportunities to all through partnerships with
organisations that work closely with local communities.

            f) Annual Day and School Fete

The Annual Day and the School Fete are very important events that bring the whole
school family together for a joyous celebration of the achievements, values and
beliefs of the school. The events showcase the talent of each and every student,
focussing on the joy of learning. In preparation for these events, the usual school
routine changes and we follow an 'Evening School' routine for a few days leading
up to the Annual Day. As these events culminate, we celebrate the realisation of
the vision and mission of our school and get ready to usher in the New Year with
                renewed resolve and zeal.

The School Fete is an annual event which involves NGOs that the school works
with, in order to support the various service initiatives that the students are
                involved in.

            g) Annual Athletic Meet

Students are trained through the year to nurture their sporting talents. In addition
to training for team games, track and field events, Inter-House tournaments are
held in Football, Basketball, Cricket, Touch Rugby, Taekwondo, Judo, Table-tennis,
                Badminton and Squash.

The Primary Athletic Meet ensures complete participation of students of Classes
                LKG to Class V.

In the Secondary Athletic Meet, only the top athletes from each house participate
in the track and field events.

            h) Social Service Programme
A key feature of DAIS education is providing an enduring learning experience to
instil the values of caring, compassion and empathy in students. These values lie at
