ii) Festivals

Festivals bring to life the varied cultures of different segments of society and are
occasions for celebration and joy. In this spirit, the school celebrates various
                festivals throughout the year.

               iii) Non-Uniform Days

Certain days on the school calendar are designated 'non-uniform' days. On some
of these days students are required to wear traditional Indian dress. On other days
students may dress in clothing of their own choosing provided that it meets the
standards and expectations of the school and community.

When participating in any social function or formal event at the school, students
are required to dress appropriately and follow the guidelines set by the school.

Bare shoulders, short dresses, distressed clothing, flip-flops and beach
                wear are not acceptable.

            m) House System

Students are allocated to one of the four houses - the Jaguars (Red House), the
Panthers (Blue House), the Tigers (Green House) and the Lions (Yellow House) from
Class 1 onwards. Students of Primary Classes I to V are called Cubs. Membership
of a house is an essential part of a student's education, helping each child to
become a responsible as well as proud member of a community through
participation in games and other house activities. It gives children of different age
groups the opportunity to bond together. The house system fosters competitive
and team spirit and nurtures a sense of belonging by being part of a cohesive
                group.

            n) Student Council
The Head Boy and Head Girl along with the Coordinators, House Captains, House
Vice-Captains, Sports Captains, Sports Vice-Captains and Cub Captains from each
of the four houses are members of the Student Council. The Student Council is
responsible for setting up and organising inter-house events and helping at events
such as Sports and Annual Days. It provides students an opportunity to develop
leadership qualities and realise for themselves the values and importance of
democratic principles through their own hands-on management of student affairs
                at the school.

The Student Council Coordinators supplement the efforts of the Student Council.
