lunch / snacks in school. The menu is also sent to all the parents and staff of the
                school at the beginning of the month.

               All students have a choice of buying snacks during their respective breaks.
               •    Students in LKG and UKG are served a school mid-day snack daily.

               •    Students in Class I are served lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
               •    Students in Classes II to V are served lunch on all days except Tuesday .

               •    Students in Classes VI and VII are served lunch on all days except Wednesday.

               •    Students in Classes VIII to XII are served lunch daily.

            g) Transport
               The  school  has  a  bus  service  for  students  to  and  from  the  school,  which  is
                outsourced to a service provider. Each bus is equipped with a first aid kit, fire
                extinguisher, seat belts, GPS monitoring system and video camera.

               The buses are manned by trained personnel, including bus hostesses who have a
                mobile phone for emergency contact. These mobile phones are also used for
                swiping the ID cards to mark their presence on the bus and in school. Students
                must use their seat belts at all times while in the school bus, as per the RTO
                directives.
               The bus service will be available on those Saturdays when the whole school is
                involved in any academic or co-curricular activities. On other Saturdays parents are
                required to make their own transport arrangements.
               Parents/guardians must inform the School about any changes in the usage of the
                School Bus service by using the appropriate link(s) on the 'School Transport' page
                http://www.dais.edu.in/studlife-transport.html,  accessible  from  the  drop-down
                Menu on the School Website. The change in return journey from the School to
                home must be informed latest by 11:00 am on the day the change is requested.

               The school has set up a Transport Committee, which will monitor and ensure that
                the  buses  deployed  and  the  services  provided  conform  to  the  standards  and
                guidelines issued by the state government towards ensuring the safety and well-
                being of children using the school bus service.
            h) Dealing with Emergencies

               During any emergency, in school or on school trips, the school will do everything
                within its capacity to ensure the safety and security of each student and, when
