person receiving the child at the school gate or at the bus stop. Students must
display the Identity card at all times while in school.
Student ID cards are used for marking attendance electronically.
If a student ID card is lost, the parent must follow the following procedure:
(i) Apply on the school ID card portal.

(ii) The student must collect the temporary ID card from the security cabin after
the above application is made.
(iii) The school will inform the parents when the duplicate ID card is ready.
(iv) Once information is received, the parent/student must exchange temporary
ID card with the duplicate ID card after payment of Rs.1,000/- by cheque at
the school reception. For primary classes only parentsare permitted to collect
the duplicate card.
If the student forgets to bring his card for a day, he/she needs to approach
the security cabin and obtain a one day card to enter the school. This card
has to be returned at the end of the day. In case the student loses this card,
they will have to bear the charges for the duplicate ID card.
Strict action will be taken against students who apply for a duplicate card
without having lost their original card.
Students or parents will be allowed to automatically apply for a duplicate
card on the ID card portal. In case they lose their ID card more than once,
they need to give an explanation to the appropriate Section Head and
obtain a written permission from the Head before the ID card request can
be processed.
k) Attendance
The school ID card is also used to electronically mark the attendance of the student
on the school buses. There are facial scanners to scan the attendance of students in
school for car children, any child exiting from the car gate need to scan at the time
of leaving the school.
Students are also expected to swipe their cards on their way out at the main gate
for car students and in the buses for bus students
